Earlier this week, we announced out "Thanksgiving Helping Hand" event. We would like to select one family (by nominations) to assist with Thanksgiving Dinner.
Through discussion, Danielle and I have decided that the program will run as follows:
The selected family will be Fed-Exed a Gift Card for either Kroger or Publix - whichever is easiest for them to access. The amount will be approximately $40 - which should cover a Turkey with sides, and beverages.
Since we decided that a gift card would best suit the family (since everyone doesn't eat the same thing at holiday time), we will be opening up nominations for ALL of our fans.
Initially, we were going to order a prepared meal from one of the grocer's delis, and have the family pick it up at their closest store. That is why we limited it to Metro Atlanta only.
Please share this with your friends, family, coworkers, etc. and encourage them to nominate their own families (if in need), or friends and people they know are in need.
On the right hand side of our page, you will see several "Tags" or post categories. Click on the one that says, "Thanksgiving Helping Hand" and fill the form out there.
Although the post says, "Metro Atlanta only," please disregard that.
